About Us

Lighthouse is a tertiary aged youth group aimed at leading young men and women to be passionate about Jesus and their relationship with Him. Our vision for this group of young adults is to see them step out as leaders and be a positive influence in the local church, their communities, families and friendship groups.

We picture a generation who:

• Understand God’s freedom and live it out in their daily lives.
• Are not ashamed of their faith, but as people who will step up and proclaim the full gospel of Jesus Christ to their families and friends.
• Live lives that shine with God’s righteousness and glory.

Our prayer for Lighthouse echoes Isaiah’s heart for Jerusalem.
“¹Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn and her salvation blazes like a burning torch. ²The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. And you will be given a new name by the Lord’s own mouth. ³The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see – a splendid crown in the hand of God” – Isaiah 62:1-3

Imagine a youth group who dare to believe that one-day, “the nations will see your righteousness and world leaders will be blinded by your glory”. Imagine a youth group who believe that the phrase ‘all things are possible in Christ’ is not just a catch-phrase, but a promise from God. Imagine a youth group so hungry to see God move in this generation, that they would not “stop praying until its righteousness shines like the dawn and its salvation blazes like a burning torch.”

That’s the youth group God has challenged us to be. That’s the youth group we want to be.
